Jharsuguda 17th Jan : On the occasion of Prakash Utsav of the tenth Sikh Guru Gobind Singh on Thursday, a ‘shobha yatra’ was taken out by Guru Singh Sabha from the Gurdwara at Mangal Bazaar. The yatra was led by thpousands of devotees and office-bearers of Jharsuguda Gurudwara and passed through different parts of the city including Busstand , Station Chowk , Puranabasti Chowk , Mangal Bazaar Chowk , and Jhanda Chowk .
The function began with recitation of Akhand Path Sahib in the morning after which the shahi sawari of Guru Granth Sahibji was taken out amidst chanting of bhajans. A grand langar was also organised in the evening where prasad were distributed to devotees.
