Jharsuguda Bar President Dinesh Jain Submits a memorandum to Finance & Public Enterprises Minister Prasaana Acharya
Jharsuguda,6th January 2013 : Yesterday Evening , Jharsuguda Bar President Dinesh Kumar Jain along with his advocate colleagues met Sj. Prasaana Acharya , the finance and Public Enterprise Minister and submitted a memorandum for establishment of Court of Civil Judge (Sr. Division in Jharsuguda)
In the memorandum it was mentioned that Jharsuguda has become a revenue district since 01-01-1992 and it has got a seprate judgeship with the court of district Judge, but still it go without a regular and fully fledged court of civil Judge (Sr. Division).being the only district in Odisha which is without the principal Civil Court.
Since 2000, when the industrialization process began at Jharsuguda and the value of land sky-rocketed, land dispute have assumed new dimension and with the acquisition of vast area of private land for industries, large number of LA cases have come up. Presently there are 3000 regular suits which are pending and thousands of LA Cases are pending for disposal in the court of CJM cum Civil Judge (Sr. Division) I/C. The people of Jharsuguda are suffering a lot for want of regular Court of Civil Judge (Sr. Division) at Jharsuguda.
According to the sources Hon�ble High Court has completed all formalities for establishment of court of civil Judge (Sr. Division) at Jharsuguda since more than one and half years and the same is being delayed at the level of the government. Principally for financial concurrence from the Finance Ministry.
Jharsuguda Bar President Dinesh Kumar Jain along with his colleagues had met Finance minister and has urged to look into the matter so that the establishment of Civil Court at Jharsuguda would be done.
