Blood Donation and Health Check-up Camp Organized on the Occasion of CA Day

Jharsuguda: On the occasion of CA Day, the Jharsuguda Branch of EIRC of ICAI, in association with Lions Club of Jharsuguda Elite, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp and Health Check-up Camp today at Hotel Meghdoot, Jharsuguda.
The programme received an overwhelming response from members of the public, professionals and social workers. A total of 35 units of blood were collected during the blood donation drive, while 58 individuals availed themselves of the facilities provided under the Health Check-up Camp.
The Health Check-up Camp was conducted with the valuable support and guidance of Dr. Babita Ramani and the dedicated staff of A Square Hospital, whose efforts ensured smooth and efficient medical services for all participants.
The Chief Guest of the event, Sri Gundala Reddy Raghavendra, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Jharsuguda, appreciated the initiative and highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation and preventive healthcare for the well-being of society.
The office bearers of the Jharsuguda Branch of EIRC of ICAI, namely Chairman CA Kushal Sitani, Vice Chairman CA Ravi Kedia, Secretary CA Priyanka Patwari Sitani and Treasurer CA Shuvendu Tripathy, actively participated in and supported the event.
Representing Lions Club of Jharsuguda Elite were President Lion Abhishek Kumar Lath, Secretary Lion Shashank Gupta, Treasurer Lion Kuldeep Goyal and Club Coordinator Lion H.C. Gupta, who played a vital role in the successful organization of the programme.
Senior Chartered Accountants of Jharsuguda and several members of Lions Club of Jharsuguda Elite were also present on the occasion and extended their support to make the event a grand success.
The organizers expressed their sincere gratitude to all blood donors, medical professionals, volunteers and participants for their enthusiastic contribution towards this noble cause and reaffirmed their commitment to undertaking similar social initiatives in the future, especially as part of the celebrations marking CA Day and the contribution of the Chartered Accountancy profession towards nation building and community service.
