Four members of a family returned from West Bengal tested COVID positive in Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda :  Four Members of Family has been tested COVID Positie on Wednesday at Jharsuguda.

The family had returned from Kolkata to Jharsuguda by Howrah-Ahmedabad Express on June 2 and were sent to the quarantine facility at Government ITI in Badheimunda.

Earlier, a 34-year-old male was tested COVID positive at BTM of Jharsuguda Town. The person had returned back from Surat and was in Quarantine in Ekatali Area.

Jharsuguda District Administration has declared both areas, Ekatali and Temporary Medical Centre Govt. ITI, Badheimunda as Containment Zone and has started contact tracing of positive patients. Both area along with active surveillance being conducted by the Medical staff under the supervision of Chief District Medical Officers. All the five positive cases have been sent to COVID Hospital, Rourkela.
