Jharsuguda Police arrested Seven people for planning to commit Dacoity
Jharsuguda :�Jharsuguda Police on Wednesday arrested seven people for allegedly planning to commit �Dacoity in Aghariapada in Purna under Jharsuguda police station limits.
Police identified the accused as Krishna Sahu (23), a resident of Siriabagicha, Aman Kumar Sahu (20) a resident of Malipada, Pintu Das (23), a resident of Purunabasti, Laxman Sonkar (28), a resident of OMP, Bhagirathi Meher 929) a resident of Buromal, Shantinagar, Rajat Sahu (25) a resident of Malipada and Jitesh Kumbhar (26) a resident of Mangalbazaar, all resident of Jharsuguda.
Police said, that on late night of Tuesday, while police officials were on patrolling duty at the Purunabasti area at 12:51 am, �had received information from reliable sources, regarding the assembly of some criminals at Open ground situated near NH-49 near Puruna Coal Godown armed with deadly weapons and were planning to commit a crime. Police reached the spot and held 7 accused persons while other�people managed to escape from the spot. While interrogation, the accused admitted that they were planning to commit dacoity in the house of a person at Aghariapada near the Purna area. Police have arrested 7 accused and seized 2 country-made pistols, Six Mobiles, one Auto rickshaw, one Hero HF Deluxe Bike, Cash Rs. 1090, 4 Iron rods, 2 lathis, 2 swords, 2 knives, 3 Chilli powder packets, and one rope.�
