Katikela Villagers submits a memorandum to Dist. Collector regarding Displacement issue

Jharsuguda : Katikela Villagers on Monday had met Jharsuguda District Collector Saroj Kumar Samal and had submitted a memorandum regarding displacement of their village by Vedanta Ltd. �In this regard, they had also said that if the demands are not met then they will stage a strike in front of plant premises.

�We had come to meet Jharsuguda Dist. Collector. We had already given three months� time to the Vedanta Company to sort out the displacement issue but still, nothing has happened, so we are planning to do a strike, as they are demanding time again an again without any solution. So we will do the strike.� Said a villager
