Katikela Villagers submits a memorandum to Dist. Collector regarding Displacement issue

Jharsuguda : Katikela Villagers on Monday had met Jharsuguda District Collector Saroj Kumar Samal and had submitted a memorandum regarding displacement of their village by Vedanta Ltd.  In this regard, they had also said that if the demands are not met then they will stage a strike in front of plant premises.

“We had come to meet Jharsuguda Dist. Collector. We had already given three months’ time to the Vedanta Company to sort out the displacement issue but still, nothing has happened, so we are planning to do a strike, as they are demanding time again an again without any solution. So we will do the strike.” Said a villager
