Rotary Club of Jharsuguda Green DG Official Visit Highlights Community Impact Projects

Jharsuguda: Rotary International District 3261’s District Governor Rtn. Akhil Mishra from Jabalpur paid his official visit today to the Rotary Club of Jharsuguda Greens, marking a day of impactful service and fellowship. During his visit, DG Rtn. Mishra inaugurated two community service projects undertaken by the Club

Handing Over of Furniture at Sarbahal UGME School: Under its flagship initiative, the Club donated furniture to the Sarbahal UGME School. This project is a continuation of the Club’s long-standing commitment to education, which earlier included major repair and renovation works at the school premises.

Installation of a Public Water Cooler at Sarbahal Road: A Water Cooler for public utility was installed at Sarbahal Road, enhancing access to clean drinking water for the community. The cooler was generously donated by Rtn. Vinod Arukia.

Following the inaugurations, a fellowship and formal meeting was held at Hotel Utkal Continental, where DG Rtn. Akhil Mishra addressed the members and lauded the Club’s meaningful contributions to society. He appreciated the consistent efforts of the members in executing sustainable projects that align with Rotary’s mission of “Service Above Self.”

The meeting was graced by Assistant Governor Rtn. Ghanshyam Meher from Sambalpur, Club President Rtn. Harshit Modi, Secretary Rtn. Anand Goel, and Past Presidents Rtn. Sajid Hussain and Rtn. CA Manish Didwania. The event also saw active participation from several members, including Rtn. Amit Agrawal, Rtn. Mohan Murarka, Rtn. Raj Hora, Rtn. Naresh Sarawgi, Rtn. Manoj Sharma, Rtn. Manoj Kumar Sharma, and many others who contributed to making the day a grand success.

The visit strengthened the spirit of Rotary fellowship and reaffirmed the Club’s commitment to impactful community service in Jharsuguda and beyond.
