Jharsuguda Secures 3rd Position in Odisha in AHSC Result 2025

Jharsuguda: Jharsuguda district has achieved a remarkable feat by securing the 3rd position in the entire state in the recently announced AHSC (Annual High School Certificate) results under BSE Odisha. The district witnessed a significant improvement in student performance, with 33 students securing an A1 grade, up from 20 in 2024. The overall pass percentage surged to 97.87%, marking a notable milestone for the district’s education system.

This academic leap is attributed to the comprehensive initiatives launched by the District Education Office under the leadership of the District Administration. One of the key programs, “UNMESHA.2,” was introduced to boost the performance of students appearing for the AHSC exams.

In a bid to support high-performing students, three special residential coaching camps were organized, while 12 resource persons were deployed to assist students across the district. Additionally, extra classes were conducted for three months for Class X students in all 106 high schools of Jharsuguda district. A dedicated Question Bank containing questions from the past ten years was also made available to students for better preparation.

Another noteworthy initiative, the “Pathana Parbana Program,” was launched to encourage reading habits among students, which further enhanced learning outcomes.

Speaking on the occasion, District Education Officer Dr. Radhakanta Gadtia credited these multi-layered strategies for the improved performance and affirmed that in the coming year, greater emphasis will be placed on enhancing both the quality and quantity of education.
