12-Day Entrepreneurship Development Training Program Inaugurated in Jharsuguda.
Jharsuguda: A 12-day Entrepreneurship Development Training Program was inaugurated yesterday in the Conference Hall of the District Industries Centre (DIC), Jharsuguda. The event was attended by distinguished dignitaries, including the General Manager of DIC Jharsuguda, the Lead District Manager, Vikas Sultania (President, DSSIA), the Junior Employment Officer, and Rabindra Sahoo, a resource person from the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (IED).
Adding to the program’s significance was the presence of successful entrepreneurs such as Pawan Sultania, who shared insights from their entrepreneurial journeys.
The training program is being conducted in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development Bhubaneswar, and the MSME Department of the Government of Odisha. Designed under the globally recognized Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) model, the program aims to equip 30 selected participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to launch and sustain successful businesses.
Over the course of 12 days, participants will gain hands-on experience in business planning, financial management, and operational strategies, enabling them to contribute effectively to the local economy. The initiative reflects a collective commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and promoting self-reliance in the region.
