General Meeting of Munda Community Held at Hirma, Jharsuguda to Preserve Traditions and Promote Awareness.

Jharsuguda: A general meeting of the Munda community was held at Hirma under the chairmanship of Rajesh Munda, trustee member of the Adivasi Shakti Peeth Seva Trust. Among the eleven tribal communities residing in the Jharsuguda district, the Munda community is one of them.

During the meeting, extensive discussions were held regarding the social customs, traditions, and practices of the Munda community. A resolution was made to observe traditional rituals and worship of deities at predetermined times.

To integrate future generations of the community into the mainstream of national development, awareness campaigns will be conducted through awareness camps to promote growth at the grassroots level in economic, educational, social, and political spheres.

The meeting was attended by community members including Pandu Munda, Laguar Munda, Arjun Munda, Guru Munda, Magasira Munda, Kuntala Munda, Urukuli Munda, Sabita Munda, Deepak Khadi, Bhumi Munda, and many others.
