TRL Krosaki Receives 1st Runners-Up Award in CII Safety, Health, and Environment Excellence Awards 2023-24
Jharsuguda : TRL Krosaki has been honored with the prestigious 1st Runners-Up Award in the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Safety, Health, and Environment Excellence Awards 2023-24. The award ceremony, organized by CII Eastern Region, took place on August 22, 2024, at Hotel ITC Sonar, Kolkata.
Dr. Tarapada Dash, Executive Vice President (Corporate Services & Sustainability) of TRL Krosaki, received the award from Rajiv Mangal, Vice President (Safety, Health & Sustainability) of Tata Steel. Accompanying Dr. Dash at the ceremony were Rajguru Acharjya, Manager (Safety), and Ansuman Tripathy, Deputy Manager (IT) of TRL Krosaki.
The competition saw participation from seventy leading industries in eastern India, including Tata Steel, TRF Limited, JAMIPOL, Hindustan Lever, Indo Rama, and NINL. The award was conferred after a rigorous multi-stage selection process that involved screening applications, assessing submissions, conducting site visits by a panel of experts, and final selection by a jury of eminent specialists in the field of Safety, Health, and Environment.
It is noteworthy that TRL Krosaki has consistently maintained a top-two position in this award category for the past five years. The recognition highlights the company’s unwavering commitment to excellence in Safety, Health, and Environment Management.
