Jharsuguda – Anil Kumar Mishra, General Manager of South Eastern Railway (SER), conducted an inspection of Jharsuguda and Rourkela stations on Wednesday. Accompanying him were the Chief Administrative Officer (Construction), Principal Chief Engineer, Principal Chief Operations Manager, Principal Chief Electrical Engineer, Principal Chief Signal and Telecommunication Engineer, Secretary to GM, Divisional Railway Manager (Chakradharpur), and other concerned divisional officers.
The inspection included a thorough review of the Jharsuguda yard and the ongoing yard modification works. Additionally, the team inspected the Sardega and RLS (Railway Logistics Solutions) work and held a meeting with officials from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL).
A window trailing inspection of the JSG-GP-ROU third line was also carried out to assess the line’s condition and ongoing work.
These regular inspections underscore the Railway’s commitment to prioritizing safety, maximizing capacity, enhancing passenger comfort, and improving infrastructure.
