Jharsuguda: On the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day, an awareness rally was organised by the students of Jhardeswari Special School.
District Disabled School, Buromal Buda Pada celebrated World Down Syndrome Day as per the instructions of the National Trust under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. The program was inaugurated by the founder Bibekananda Mishra by hoisting the flag at the school l Later, a formal meeting, was held at the school premises under the Presidentship of Namita Nath, Principal. The founder Bibekanada Mishra and Secretary Nikunj Bihari Jyotish had joined as a guest and said that if the society cares about Dibyangjan, they will be allowed to continue their life in the mainstreaming society.
