Jharsuguda : The 33rd annual day celebration of the People’s Forum Volunteer organization at Mission Ashra at Katapalli in Jharsuguda district was celebrated with much fanfare and joy. In the morning, a blood donation camp was organized by the People’s Forum. In this camp, the staff of the People’s Forum and other members of the public donated blood, and a total of 111 units of blood were collected.
Mr. Lankeshwar Amat, Additional District Magistrate of Jharsuguda District as Chief Guest, District Social Security Officer Ms. Gopalshmi Hota, District Child Protection Officer Mr. Sanand Maharana, Lecturer and Poet Ms. DandaKini Satpathy, Former principal of Laxmi Narayan College Mr. Narendra Kumar Panda joined the program. Other NGOs of Jharsuguda district and intellectuals also participated in the program. Apart from this, the staff from all the centers run by People’s Forum Western Odisha participated in the event. The Chief Guest along with all the guests and staff celebrated the foundation day of the People’s Forum by cutting a cake. The Chief Guest encouraged all the staff to such seamless service for the mentally challenged and also informed them about the importance of human services. After the formal meeting cultural program was arranged by the staff and inmates. All enjoyed the program.
Asst. Vice President of People�s Forum, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Jethy read out the annual report of the institution and finally, Ajay Kumar Debata gave a vote of thanks to the dignitaries and others.
