Jharsuguda: District Collector of Jharsuguda Aboli Sunil Naravane has ordered the completion of the Swimming Pool and cricket Stadium at Malimunda by the end of December 2023.
The order was given during a discussion with the officials of Odisha Bridge Construction Corporation in a meeting held in the office of the District Collector on Friday.
The District Collector said that the swimming pool and cricket stadium are important sports infrastructure for the district, and their completion will boost sports activities in the area. She also directed the District Sports Officer to liaise with the Bridge Corporation staff regarding the completion of the stadium work and related works.
The Odisha Cricket Association will be contacted about organizing Ranji matches in the district once the stadium is completed.
