Jharsuguda: Folk art to be used to communicate government schemes to the masses
Jharsuguda: Folk art will be used to communicate government schemes to the masses in Jharsuguda district. Folk art teams will conduct awareness programmes in the panchayats of their respective districts from September 15 to 30.
The training programme for the folk art teams was held at the Jharsuguda district cultural bhawan on Tuesday. The programme was inaugurated by lighting a lamp.
District Additional Education Officer Pradeep Sa, District Child Protection Officer Sunanda Maharana, District Mamata Coordinator Tusharkant Naik, Block Agriculture Officer Amrit Lugun, Soumya Ranjan Bhoi, District Art and Culture Association Vice President Surang Padhan, Purandar Sa, Tusharkant Naik, Niranjan Mali, and all block social security officers and officials from various departments were present.
Trained Sansadhan workers will impart training at the panchayat and block levels. The training programme was held in the presence of District Culture Officer Anil Kerketa and District Information and Public Relations Officer Ajay Jena. Rajesh Seth, Manbodh Bagarty, Deepshikha Singh, Sandeep Naik, and Sameer Kisan contributed to the smooth running of the programme.
The use of folk art to communicate government schemes is a new initiative in Jharsuguda district. It is hoped that this initiative will be successful in reaching out to the masses and making them aware of the government’s welfare schemes.
