Aam Bus Stand Inaugurated at Kolabira
Jharsuguda: The Odisha government inaugurated 21 new bus stands in 13 districts of the state in a virtual ceremony on August 23, 2023. The event was inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
The new bus stands are being constructed at a cost of Rs 100 crore. They are equipped with modern facilities such as waiting rooms, toilets, cloakrooms, and parking spaces. The bus stands will also have solar panels to generate electricity.
In Jharsuguda district, a bus stand was inaugurated at Kolabira Block headquarters by Tulabati Minz, President, Zilla Parishad, Jharsuguda, in the presence of DTM Sambalpur, Rourkela, the RTO team, BDO Kolabira Block, Chairman Kolabira, Tahasildar Kolabira, media personnel, and the general public of Kolabira Block.
The construction of the new bus stand at Kolabira is part of the state government’s plan to improve public transportation facilities in the state. The bus stand will be equipped with modern facilities such as waiting rooms, toilets, cloakrooms, and parking spaces. It will also have solar panels to generate electricity.
The inauguration of the new bus stand is a welcome step by the state government. It will help to improve public transportation facilities in the state and make it easier for people to travel.
