Gopal Das’s discharge petition in Minister Naba Das murder case adjourned to September 2

Jharsuguda: The hearing of the discharge petition of accused Gopal Das in the murder case of Minister Naba Das has been postponed to September 2, 2023. The hearing was scheduled to take place on Monday in the Jharsuguda Additional District Judge’s Court, but was adjourned as the Additional District Judge is on leave.

Gopal Das’s lawyer, Naresh Naik, said that his client is innocent and has filed the discharge petition. He also said that Gopal Das is suffering from a bipolar disease.

Gopal Das was produced in court through video conferencing from the Choudwar jail. He was personally produced in court twice earlier. The next hearing in the case is scheduled to take place on September 2, 2023.
