Jharsuguda: On the occasion of Forest Festival Week, District Legal Service Authority Jharsuguda organided a tree planting program in the premises of the local government high school under the direction of Odisha State Law Service Authority Cuttack.
The program was attended by District and Sessions Judge and District Legal Service Authority Chairman Digambara Prusty, Additional District and Sessions Judge and POCSO Judge Nilgiri Jena, Additional District and Sessions Judge Subas Chandra Dhal, Senior Civil Judge (Women’s Court) S. Subhalakshmi, District Legal Services Authority Secretary Neha Das, Senior Civil Judge Dibyasachi Behera, Junior Civil Judge Roshani bala Captain, First Class Judicial Magistrate (Cognigence) Srimayee Nanda, Chief Development Officer & Executive Officer District Council Jharsuguda Tapiram Majhi, DFO Jharsuguda Manu Ashok Bhat, Additional District Education Officer Pradeept Sa, and Principal of Government High School Jharsuguda Chandra kanti Das Major.
The teachers and students of the school also planted trees. In order to create environmental awareness among the students, this tree planting program was conducted in all the high schools in the district and the students participated in this tree planting program. The district forest department provided saplings to all the high schools while the district education department provided all kinds of support.
