Two days workshop on legal literacy on gender violence org. by Swati Organisation concludes

Jharsuguda : Swati organization organized two days workshop on legal literacy on gender violence at DRDA conference hall, Jharsuguda from 3.7.23 to 4.7.23. The objective of the workshop is to sensitize women’s rights and women-related acts. In the inaugural session,   Ashish Kumar Panda Chairperson Child Welfare Committee, Brundabati Panda Women protection officer, Anandini Padhi Director of SEHADA were present. In the two days workshop, Resource persons Sujata Mahapatra and Satyajit Pratihari discussed women’s rights and women-related acts i.e.D.V.Act,POCSO Act,PCPNDT Act, Sexual Harassment at workplace act etc. Participants actively participated in the workshop. In the closing session, Prabeer Kumar Naik ADM, Tapiram Majhi CDO, Ashish Kumar Panda Chairperson Child Welfare Committee, P. Helen Xess DSWO, Anandini Padhi Director SEHADA, and B.Nageswari senior advocate were present, and distributed certificate to participants. Participants from One stop centre,Swadhar greh,Swabhiman greh,Childline,SHG federation,NGO, Krushi mitra , MBK, and Anganwadi workers have participated in the workshop.
