OSAP Jawan Goes missing

Jharsuguda : Odisha State Armed Police Jawan of Jharsuguda posted at Bhadrak, who availed a casual leave for travelling to his native place at Nepal but he have not reached to that place and has been missing since 26th October 2022.
He is identified as Ram Bahadur Gurung (51), Halvidar of OSAP 2nd Battalion, Jharsuguda and posted at Bhadrak
As per the missing report, Ram Bahadur Gurung had taken a casual leave from 26th October to visit his native place at Nepal and had left Bhadrak by boarding Howarh – Satabdhi Express Train at 9.10 AM. He was supposed to reach his native Village Bansor in Nepal by 28th October but till date he has not reached his home neither his phone is reachable. He was in contact till 3.45 pm of 26th October, but after that his phone is switched off and neither he has contacted to his family members or any platoons’ personals. His where about is still not known. His wife Maya Gurung had reported this matter of OSAP 2nd Battalion Commandant on 1st November that his husband has not reached the village.
Deputy Commandant Laxman Singh, “Havildar Ram Bahadur Gurung had availed 20 days Casual Leave to go to his native place from Bhadrak Camp. He had left Bhadrak on 26th October but after that he is untraceable, we had filed a missing Complaint at Govt. Railway Police, Bhadrak and trying to locate him.”
