Jharsuguda : In a joint raid by Jharsuguda and Sundargarh Vigilance Sleuths on Tuesday nabbed a Junior Clerk of Jharsuguda District Agriculture Office accepting a bribe of Rs. 20,000 from a farmer to facilities Kharif Insurance.
The accused was identified as Ajay Pandey (37), a resident of Attabira, Rengali under Lakhanpur Block
As per the vigilance official,” Based on the complaint by one Premanand Sha of Laikera, we had laid a trap on Tuesday afternoon and had caught Ajay Pandey, for accepting a bribe of Rs. 20,000 from the complainant. Ajay Pandey had demanded Rs. 20,000 from Premanand Sha of Laikera to facilitate agricultural insurance under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.â€
The accused Ajay Pandey, has been arrested and is being sent forward to the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur.
