Adv. Raghumani Patel elected as the new Bar President, securing 182 votes in the Jharsuguda District Bar Association election

Jharsuguda: The Jharsuguda District Bar Association elections were conducted smoothly on Saturday, witnessing active participation from its members. Adv. Raghumani Patel elected as the Bar resident, while Adv. Niladri Bihari Panda secured victory as the Bar Secretary.
The polling process began in the morning and continued till 3:30 PM, followed by vote counting which commenced at 4:00 PM.
In the presidential race, Adv. Raghumani Patel emerged victorious by securing 182 votes, defeating Adv. Trinath Gual, who secured 167 votes.
For the post of General Secretary, Adv. Niladri Bihari Panda won decisively with 241 votes, while Adv. Manish Kumar Bajpai finished second with 108 votes.
According to the Election Officer, candidates for several other posts had already been elected unopposed prior to the polling.
The election process was carried out peacefully and efficiently, reflecting strong democratic participation within the legal fraternity of Jharsuguda.
