Jharsuguda : Odisha Health Minister Naba Kishore Das submits a memorandum to Minister of State Finance Pankaj Chaudhury and requested financial assistance for affordable Health Care projects in Odisha under the Sub-Scheme- II of the VGF Scheme for Social Sector Projects.
As per the letter Das said, the Affordable Health Care Project is a flagship programme of the health and Family welfare department of the Government of Odisha which intends to develop higher secondary National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) facilities across the state with private sector participation. After the assessment, the Government has identified 25 locations where 100 and200 bedded affordable health care facilities shall be developed in PPP mode.
Accordingly, to avail financial support under Sub Scheme-II if VGF scheme for social projects the Affordable Health Care Projects proposals at Jharsuguda, Angul, Barbil and Bhadrak has already been submitted to the PPP Cell for the kind consideration of the empowerment committee.
Das has requested Minister of State (finance) Pankaj Chaudhary to intervene for early approval of the projects so that the bid process can be initiated for early implementation of the said PPP Projects.
