Lions Club of Jharsuguda holds Plantation drive at Blue Bells English Medium School
Jharsuguda : Lions Club Of Jharsuguda on Saturday Organised a ” Plantation Program ” at Blue Bells English Medium School, Saleitikra. On this occasion Jharsuguda Divisional Forest officer Lalit Kumar Patra, IFS has graced the program as Chief Guest and had spoken about the importance of plantation and also appreciated the noble service project by Lions Club.
President Madhumita Subhnil said that ” Trees are Lungs of our planet and similar Plantation Projects will be carried out at various places in future. She also showed her gratitude to the Director & Principal of Blue Bells School Ln J. Vinod and Ln Sanchali Mukherji, teachers, staff members for their kind cooperation.”
Club administrator Ln. Mahendra Kedia explained that Trees are the lifelines of our land. Charter member Ln Balgovind Mishra told that planting tree is very beneficial for mankind. Service project chairperson Ln H.S.Barpanda actively participated in this event, Ln. Kishore Kumar Mohanty, Ln Kavita Panda, Ln Vandana Patel, Ln Surya Mohanty, Ln Pankaj Sultania, Ln Bijaya Bachheli and other members & guests were present there and made the event successful.
