Jharsuguda: Odisha Power Generation Corporation (OPGC) announced a planned annual outage of Unit �II (210MW) for executing scheduled maintenance and repair of the unit from 13th January onwards, by shutting down the unit.
The Unit-II shall remain shut down for 20 days to complete this overhaul. Annual maintenance/overhaul of Boiler & its auxiliaries along with Turbine auxiliaries and Generator auxiliaries shall be carried out during this period.
As per the official procedure, this outage/shutdown has been planned in advance in consultation with concerned State authorities like Gridco and State Load Despatch Centre (SLDC).
