Jharsuguda : Members of Youngs Star Charitable Trust felicitated a Plasma Donor Naval Agarwal, who donated plasma for a Patient who has been under going treatment in COVID Hospital, Jharsuguda. The Members also urged everyone to come forward and donate Plasma for the benefits of others.
As per report, Due to deteriorating health of a patient undergoing treatment in COVID hospital, who required (A+ve plasma), Nawal Agarwal was contacted by the chairman of Youngsters Charitable Trust, Er. Arabinda Barik with help of Ratnamani Swaragi. Barik contacted Nawal Agrawal and he immediately agreed to his request. Arabinda further informed to Dr. Prasad, Head of the Burla Blood Bank and expedited all formalities. Later, the family member of the patient arrived at Burla Blood Bank with Nawal Agrawal and Agrawal donated plasma at 6p.m.
Upon his arrival back at Jharsuguda, Agrawal was felicitated on behalf of Marwari Mahila Samiti and Om Puja Committee at Sarbahal with the support of the Youngsters Charitable Trust. Ratnamani Sawragi, Sunil Sawragi, Venugopal Panigrahi, Rajesh Padhi, Fakir Mohan Padhi, Aditya Pujari, Pintu Padhi, Ravindra Dixit, Mantu Panda, Abhas Dixit , Alok Chandra Panigrahi and Abhijit Barik were present and encouraged the blood donor.
In an interview with JSGLIVE, Nawal Agrawal said, “Plasma blood donation is simpler than normal blood donation.”
where as Er. Arabinda Barik said “Plasma donors are in dire need, in Jharsuguda. In this situation, people recovering after 28 days should come forward to save lives by donating plasma.”
