Jharsuguda : Former MLA of Brajrajnagar Anup Sai, who has been lodged in Raigarh jail of Chhattisgarh for his alleged involvement in a double murder since February, has tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday.
According to family sources, Sai was initially admitted to a government hospital after he complained of chest pain on Tuesday afternoon. He was later shifted to Fortis Hospital and is in the ICU, having suffered a massive heart stroke.
Anup Sai was arrested by Raigarh police on February 12 in connection with the 2016 the double murder of one Kalpana Das (32) and her 14-year-old daughter.
