Jharsuguda : Eight Police personnel’s including five from Badmal Police station and three police personnel’s of Railway Protection Force of Brajrajnagar have been tested COVID19 positive in last 24 hours from Jharsuguda district
As per report, five police personnel including a sub inspector, a constable and three home guards of Badmal Police Station have tested COVID positive. A total of 40 policemen including Badmal Police station Officer in-charge have been sent on quarantine.
Jharsuguda SP Rahul PR said that ” Five police personnel of Jharsuguda Police have tested positive. The Badmal Police Station building is being sanitised and all contacts are in quarantine as per protocol. Badmal Police station will continue functioning from the reception centre in the same premises.”
Subsequently, Three police personnel including the officer in charge of Railway Protection Force, Brajrajnagar Railway Station were also tested COVID19 positive.
As per reports, till date Jharsuguda district’s total COVID positive cases tally reach 566, while total active cases are 150.
