Two Jawans of ODRAF, OSAP 2nd Bn Donates Plasma at SCB, Cuttack
JHARSUGUDA: Two Jawans of Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF) of OSAP 2nd Battalion, Jharsuguda had donated plasma at the plasma bank of SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack on Thursday. They had recovered from coronavirus recently.
According to sources, 26 Jawans of Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF) Jharsuguda Unit under OSAP 2nd Battalion, Jharsuguda were a part of rescue Group comprises of NDRF and Odisha Fire Personnels who together had been to West Bengal for rescue operations after Cyclone �Amphan�. Following which around 20 Jawan of ODRAF Jharsuguda Unit was infected with the deadly coronavirus and had also recovered after the treatment.
While undergoing treatment, all of them were enthusiastic to donate plasma, added the source.
Among which Six Jawans were identified to donate plasma and have been kept under observation in the SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack
After undergoing several tests, among six jawans, two jawans donated their plasma for the treatment of other COVID19 Patients in the state on Thursday
