On Sunday, a unique and rare yellow turtle has been spotted by locals in the Sujanpur village Balasore district of Odisha. According to the information, locals of Sujanpur village rescued a rare species of the yellow colour turtle then handed over it to the Forest Department officials.
After that, the senior IFS officer Susanta Nanda shared a video on Twitter, where the rescued yellow turtle was swimming. After sharing this the video of this rare yellow turtle has gone viral.
According to the senior IFS officer, the ‘turtle most probably was an albino. One such aberration was recorded by locals in Sindh a few years back.’
With sharing another picture of this rare species on twitter, IFS officer captioned this image, “Close snap of the same. Mark the pink eyes, one indicative feature of albinism.”
