Jharsuguda : Two persons were arrested and around 23 Kg worth Rs. 1.15 Lakh of Ganja was seized from their possession on Monday at Biju Pattnaik Chowk, Badmal.
Police identified the accuse as Sashikanta Sarangi (56) and Rajesh Bag(23), both resident of of Subdega of Sundargarh district.
As reported, on receiving credible information, these accuse on their motorcycle were intercepted at Biju Patnaik Chowk, Badmal with two plastic gunny bags with total 23 kg of Ganja. They were transporting this consignment from Sambalpur to Sundargarh. However, they have been arrested and forwarded to court under section 20 (b) (ii) (c) NDPS Act.
