Jharsuguda : Several Villagers of Samasingha Village staged a road blockade on Monday, in demand of proper compensation after the death of youth working under a company, who died in a road accident.
The deceased was identified as Divya Kumar Khati (29years), a resident of Samasingha Village.
As reported, On  Friday, Divya Kumar Khati was on his way to pick some workers in his Vehicle, but on his way, his vehicle collided with a stationary truck parked on the road, due to which he was seriously injured. Later he was taken to VIMSAR, Burla for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries during the treatment.
The family members along with few villagers, of the Divya, staged a road blockade at Samasingha Chowk, Â in demand of proper compensation. Due to this protest, the vehicular movement on Bamra and Sambalpur State Highway was disrupted.
However, the Kolabira police officials reached the spot and have been pursuing the agitators to lift the road blockade.
Till the filing of the this article , the road blockade was not lifted.
