Jharsuguda Airport, a Nuakhai Gift by the PM for the people of Western Odisha : Jual Oram
Jharsuguda : Ahead of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi visit to Jharsuguda for inaugurating the second airport of the state on September 22nd, the Union Minister Tribal affairs Jual oram visited the industrial town to attend the preparatory meeting on Friday.
After the preparatory meeting addressing to the media Oram said , Jharsuguda airport will be a Naukhai gift by PM for the people of Western Odisha.
He also said, ” Along with inaugurating the Jharsuguda airport, Prime minister will also inaugurate like Jharsuguda-Sardega (present in Sundargarh district) Railway Line built with an estimate cost of 1024 Cr., MCL’s (Mahanadi Coalfield Limited) Garjanbahal Open Cast Mines having 230 Million tonnes of Coal reserve and inauguration of 50 bedded Hospital at Basundhara and Lakhanpur. However, this tour programme are tentatively proposed. It will be finalized after PM office approval.”
“PM will also address a public meeting to be held at Amlipali. We are expecting more than 2 Lakhs at that place and hence a preparatory meeting was organised today. He further said around 350 BJP workers from three Parliamentary constituency including Bargarh, Sambalpur and Sundargarh had participated in the preparatory meeting.” he added.
Union Minister Jual Oram along with Brajrajnagar MLA Radha Rani Panda and Tankadhar Tripathy, President, BJYM were present in this meeting.
Meanwhile on Friday morning, Airport Authority of India’s Chairman Dr. Guru Prasad Mohapatra along with S.P. Yadav, Regional Executive Director , Anil Kumar Pathak, AAI Member Planning , Kaushik Battacharya, Executive Director (Engineering) had visited Jharsuguda airport and reviewed the arrangements to be done for the inaugural of the airport.
