First Jharsuguda District level Kalinga Herbal Fair 2018 inaugurated
Jharsuguda: The�District level Kalinga Herbal Fair is underway at Durga Mandap Ground Sarbahal in the Jharsuguda from Wednesday. The event has been jointly organised by Jharsuguda Forest Department and the State Medicinal Plants Board (SMPB), the fair aims to promote the use of traditional Indian medicines and plants.�This fair will be started from 7th March to 10th March 2018
Around 30 stalls�have been put up which showcase diverse products related to health displaying exclusively the ayurvedic products. thus providing an opportunity for interaction, trading and learning to all stakeholders of medicinal plants sector.
This is the first time in Jharsuguda that such type of Fair has been conducted and many people.�The function was inaugurated by Prof. Dhruv Raj Naik, Convenor of District Environment Committee along with Jharsuguda DFO Sushant Kumar and other distinguished guests.
The special attraction which the event offers is various Traditional healers from all over the State, Manufactures, Traders of Herbal medicines.
