Jharsuguda Lok Mahotsav �DulDuli� to kick off on Jan 1st
Jharsuguda:� Jharsuguda Lok Mahotsav �DulDuli� is set to kick off from January 1st�at Man Mohan M.E. School Ground here. All necessary preparation for this five days cultural fest celebration is almost in the completion state.
In a press conference held on Saturday evening, Member of the Core Committee of� Jharsuguda Lok Mahotsav Tapas Ray Choudhary said that, around 42 cultural teams including 5 teams from the five blocks i.e. Jharsuguda, Kolabira, Lakhanpur and Laikera and Kirmira Block and 3 teams from three Municipality Jharsuguda, Brajrajnagar and Belpahar Municipality will take part. This year around 644 artists including participants from Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh will take part in this five-day event.
“We are trying to make the event more colourful and attractive. This year Rs 17 lakh is being spent and which is around 20% higher than the previous year. The event will start with a street procession of the artists in the morning from Jhadeshwar Temple to Man Mohan M.E. School.” he added
During these five days celebration various stalls are also being put up in which 130 stalls are from ORMAS (Odisha Rural Development and Marketing Society) , and rest stalls will be from various line industries like Horticulture, Agriculture, Soil Conservation etc.
Seeing the severe cold wave, all the programs will be start half an hour before the schedule so that the program ends earlier later in the night.
�This time we have focused on the cultural programmes and have included various cultural troops from outside state too. Our main aim by organizing this Mahotsav is to rejuvenate the local cultural.
