Jharsuguda : Lions Club of Jharsuguda organized a Diabetics Awareness Lesson, this was organized under their Lions Club international initiative throughout India for creating a Guinness World record in which the members of Lions club had to conduct the Diabetic Awareness Camp at various Schools at the same time.
In Jharsuguda, this was organized at St. Mary’s Convent School and St. Thomas English Medium School on 20th November 2017. In this around more than 1000 children’s of each school were imparted the diabetics awareness lesson. The event was organized under the guidance of president of Lions Club of Jharsuguda �Lion Dr R.K. Joshi and Vice President Lion. H.C. Gupta.
More than two thousand children from St. Marys School and St. Thomas School & Ghanshyam Hemlata Vidya Mandir School had participated and had taken the Diabetes awareness lesson by Lion. Dr R. K. Das and Lion Dr S.J. Patel presented & explained about the Diabetics and its precaution. In this event, it was supported by various Lion members among which Lion Subhnil, L.N. Mathew, Lion Sanjay Swaragi, Lion Abhishek had contributed to their efforts in organizing this event successfully.
