OPGC conducts free health camp for senior citizens at Adhapara village
Jharsuguda:�Odisha Power Generation Corporation today conducted a free health camp for senior citizens at Adhapara village of Lakhanpur block. Mrs.Rupati Seth, Sarpanch of Kusuraloi Panchayat inaugurated the camp at�10 am�at the panchayat office building �Rajiv Gandhi Seva Kendra� located at Adhapara. The camp continued until�3.00 pm�in the afternoon. Total 272 patients from villages Adhapara, Jamuna, Kerual bahal, Khandasa, Baragad, Falsamunda, and Kainser took the benefit of this health camp. Patients were checked up for various ailments like High BP, Diabetes, Acid peptic, back pain, joint pain, cataract, anaemia and general weakness. They were provided with medical advice and free medicine.
Chief Medical Officer of IB Thermal hospital Dr Bijaylal Biswal along with Dr Sangita Panda, Asst. CMO of ITPS hospital and Dr Ekanta Padhan of Lakhanpur PHC treated the patients.
Mr Damodar Nayak of ITPS hospital supervised the event smoothly along with other staff of ITPS hospital Ms Sabita Naik, Ms Rita James,� Mr Pravat Barik, Mr Agnivesh Singh, Suresh Chandan, Pramananda and Karna Bag.
