The meeting was attended by senior officials including Intelligence Director RP Koche, ADG Santosh Bala, IGP (Northern Range) Himanshu Lal, Northern Division Commissioner Sachin Ramachandra Jadhav, and Collector Kunal Motiram Chavan. The discussions focused on finalizing security measures, logistics, and crowd management to ensure the smooth conduct of the Prime Minister’s programme. Earlier in the day, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, along with the Chief Secretary and other top officials, visited the Amlipali Ground and reviewed ongoing preparations at the venue.
Speaking to the media, Revenue Minister Pujari said, “Seven years ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had come to inaugurate VSS Airport, and now, after seven years, he is returning—this time when both the central and state governments are led by the BJP. People are very excited about his visit. On September 27 at 11 AM, PM Modi will arrive at VSS Airport and proceed directly to address a public gathering at Amlipali.
On the way, several arrangements such as folk dances, cultural performances, and a roadshow have been made to welcome him. During his visit, he will inaugurate projects across the health, education, and industrial sectors, lay foundation stones, and announce new initiatives. A large number of youths are expected to participate in the Yuva Samavesh, and the enthusiasm among BJP members for his grand welcome is clearly visible.”
