Negligence takes man’s �both legs in railway mishap
Jharsuguda: A 30-year-old man travelling from Raigarh to Jharsuguda on a train lost both legs when he slipped over while sitting on the door of a boogie.
The youth was identified as Sukalo Banjare (30), a resident of Kewara village of Raigarh, Chhattisgarh.
As per the sources, The victim was travelling alone and had boarded Train No. 13287 Durg – Danapur Express from Raigarh to Jharsuguda, scheduled to reach 2 p.m. and was running late by an hour. �The victim had been sitting near the door of the boogie and due to some jerk of the train near Jharsuguda’s Siria Bagicha Railway Level Crossing, he slipped off and came under the wheels of the train in which he had lost his both legs and was battling for life.
He was spotted by some locals who had called in the Ambulance and had immediately taken him to Jharsuguda Dist. Headquarter Hospital where preliminary treatment was provided. He condition was so serious that he was referred to VIMSAR, Burla for further treatment.
As per report there Ambulance who had brought the victim from the spot to Dist. Hospital had refused to take the victim to Burla. However, with the help of locals and other members had immediately arranged another 108 Ambulance in which the victim was shifted to Burla.
