Jharsuguda Girls shines in Sambalpur University exams
Jharsuguda :�Four Girl students of Jharsuguda have secured top honours in the plus three (BA/BSC/BCOM) final year examinations of the Sambalpur University results, which were announced here on Friday.
Among the toppers, Afreen Bano of Laxmi Narayan College has secured first rank in University by securing 778 marks in the +3 final year examination in Commerce Honours stream. Similarly another two girls of Laxminarayan College Commerce Stream named Pratibha Dwivedi has secured 7th University Rank by securing 720 marks, Muntaha Rahmani has secured 9th University rank by securing 688 marks.
Another girl, Laxmi Singh of Women�s College, Jharsuguda has secured second University position in Hindi Honours in Arts Stream by securing 532 marks.
Afreen Bano, daughter of Md. Irshad, a business man of Mangal Bazaar has expressed his gratitude to his family members, teacher Amit Verma and the college for helping her to securing a good result.
�We are extremely happy with the results of Afreen, we never imagined that she would became the University topper.� said Md. Irshad father of Afreen.
She also said that there is no shortcut to the get success, one has to be focused on her/his goal and works towards it with full heart. In future she wants to be a Chartered Accountant.
