Aparna World School, the first international school of Jharsuguda, was launched on 8th March, in the presence of its Founder Secretary – Mr Ajay Poddar, Founder Principal – Dr Arun Sinha and the members of Management Committee. The school, located on ESPL Road, near Buxi Chowk, is starting Classes till 6th standard from 16th March 2015.
Built on 12 Acre Land, the school is being built to educate 1,280 students. The facilities of the school include world class infrastructure, low density classrooms, unmatched sporting facilities, space for extra curricular activities and trained and experienced teachers. The Founder Principal of school – Dr Arun Sinha has more than 20 years experiences of teaching and administration at the schools like Delhi Public School, Ranchi. The teachers have been appointed from Jharsuguda and across India.
At the launch event, Mr Ajay Poddar, the Founder Secretary of School said – Aparna World School is the fulfilment of numerous dreams of people of Jharsuguda who wanted to give quality education to their children. Jharsuguda has been the epicentre of manufacturing focussed industrial growth in Odisha but this is for the first time that we have taken a huge leap of getting into service industry.
My aim for Aparna World School is to offer best learning environment to the students, without compromising in the quality of education, at an affordable fee. The Founder Principal of School, Dr Arun Sinha said – We feel honoured and humbled today by the gratitude and confidence bestowed on us by the people of Jharsuguda. This is a visionary project which will not just develop its wards academically but will also focus on their all-round development. Sports Infrastructure, Focus on Co-Curricular Activities, Day Boarding Facilities are some of the unique initiatives.
