Odisha�s CM inaugurates Dist. Collector Office and lays foundation stones for three developmental projects in Jharsuguda
Jharsuguda: �Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday inaugurated four Dist. Offices and laid the foundation stones for three developmental projects at Jharsuguda.
After arriving at Jharsuguda, Patnaik inaugurated the newly Built Jharsuguda Dist. Collector Office (Est. Cost of 8.14 Cr.), Dist. Education Office (Est. Cost. of Rs. 1.2 Cr.), Dist. Cultural Office (Est. Cost. 50 Lacs) and Dist. Planning Office (Est. Cost. 75 Lakhs). He also inaugurated a 33/11 KV Sub Station at Lahandabud (Est. Cost. Rs. 2.17 Cr.)
Along with this, he also in laid the foundation stones for five mega lift irrigation project (Est. cost 76 Cr.), 33/11 KV Sub Station at Durlaga (Est. Cost. Rs. 3.50 Cr.), 200 bed two Girls Hostel (Est. Cost. 1.5 Cr.) at Chandanimal at Brajrajnagar and Badheimunda at Jharsuguda.
Patnaik had also addressed a public meeting with WODC Chairman Kishore Mohanty, Bargarh MP Dr. Prabhash Kumar Singh, Anup Sai, Chairman, Odisha Lift Irrigation Corporation Ltd along with various other BJD leaders present.
Patnaik said that, �Jharsuguda which is an industrial belt, should get an independent place in the map of India. This town has created lots of job opportunities. Our main aim is to generate new employment opportunities through the Natural Resources present. The Development of Industries can address the issue of the poverty as well as the issue of unemployment. Our main aim is to bring the 27percent of the state�s gross domestic product from the manufacturing sector which would also create additional employment for three lakhs people.�
�Jharsuguda District Congress Committee has celebrated Black Day today, the congress activist have also been arrested, being a MLA of Jharsuguda, I had initiate the work for 33/11 KV Sub Station. As CM is the leader of the House and I being a member of the house I will attend this and along with I will also submit a memorandum for the Drinking water projects for which Central government had already given money but still nothing has been done yet.� Said Jharsuguda Congress MLA Naba Kishore Das.
