Jharsuguda: Normal Life was thrown out of gear in Jharsuguda today due to a State-wide dawn-to-dusk bandh called by Congress protesting against the alleged mismanagement during ‘Brahma Parivartan’ rituals.
In Jharsuguda District, the congress supporters had blocked the road for which train and bus services were affected during the 12-hour bandh. The agitated activist had also blocked the Kalinga Utkal Puri – Hardiwar Rail at Jharsuguda Station for half an hour.
Shops and business establishments, Schools & Government Offices remained closed and vehicular movement was also affected due to the protest.
