Dog Show Organised by Kennel Club of Jharsuguda
JHARSUGUDA: It was a�dog�s�day in the industrial town on Sunday evening as around 60�dogs�of as many as 8�different breeds wagged their tails in the�dog�show�which was organized by�Kennel Club, Jharsuguda.
Several participants reached from nearby places like Sambalpur, Sundergarh, Belpahar, Brajrajnagar along with their�dogs. The event was packed with audience, especially youngsters, who came to see this�show, held in Shankar Bagicha, Jharsuguda.
Prizes were given to top three�dogs�of all varieties, including German shepherd, Rot Weller, Doberman, Great Dane, Pug, Saint Bernard, Dachshund, Cocker Spaniel.
A German shepherd owned by one Vicky Pradhan of Sambalpur was the champion in best of show.
��We have organized this event to create awareness among the�Dog�lovers with a message that�Dogs are very loyal friend of human beings and we should also take care of them.� said Kajal Guha, President of the Kennel Club, Jharsuguda
Jharsuguda Municipality Chairman Harish Ganatra and Social Activist Tapas Ray Choudhary inaugurated the�show�on Sunday afternoon while WODC Chairman Kishore Kumar Mohanty was the chief guest in the evening and distributed prizes to the winners.
