Jharsuguda: A gang of dacoits looted house of Railway Doctor Dr. J.P. Mahali of Railway Colony on the wee hours of Saturday morning. They escape with Gold Ornaments, Cash, Mobiles, Laptop, ATM cards and other valuables Worth 5 Lakhs. Dacoits laced with guns had locked the couple in a room before fleeing the spot.
As per the Doctor J.P. Mahali said that,around 2.30 A.M. in the morning someone knocked at the back door of the house when he went and opened, then an unidentified masked miscreants laced with gun had pointed the gun on his�head and other miscreants over powered his wife through a knife and asked them to move to a room and went on rampage for several hours.
He added that Dacoits took away Laptop,Gold necklace, 6 finger rings 4 pair gold ear rings and other gold ornaments, four mobiles, Rs 25,000 and other household items worth around Rs 5 lakh.
Before leaving the house, the gang had locked the couple in a room, later after few hours, the
couple managed to broke the lock and informed the neighbor and later neighbor informed GRP police.�GRP Police reached the spot with FSL team and started investigation after registering an FIR in the morning.
