Jharsuguda : International Women’s Day was celebrated with much enthusiasm across Jharsuguda Town by various Social Organization and NGOs. On the occasion of this Sehada led by Anadani Padhi along with WOPA (Western Orissa Progressive Alliance) , CASA and JCI Sanskruti had jointly celebrated this day by organizing a Signature Campaign and creating a human chain near Jharsuguda Bus Stand and had taken out rally from Bus stand to Utkal Jyoti Centre at Cox Colony where a Seminar was organised, where various guest Dr. (Smt.) Rama Lakshmi , Mandakani Satpathy, Dr. Jharna Mishra had spoken on the various topics related to Women .
Luky Purseth (President JCI Sanskruti) , Aradhan Singh , Sangita Agarwal , Puja Jha were also present in this.
Meanwhile even Mahila Unayan Niketan had organised a raly on the occasion of International women’s day , In this various ladies had participated in this rally which started from PWD IB to Mangal Bazaar. In this rally , Sadhan Samant Ray (Gen. Secretary) , Kanti Naik ( Vice President) , Sarojini Patel (Secretary) along with many others were present.
