Jharsuguda: Normal Life was thrown out of gear due to the 12-hour bandh called by the Western Odisha’s Central Action Committee on Wednesday.
The lawyers of Jharsuguda Dist. Bar Association had blocked areas like OSAP, Buxi Chowk and Badmal areas. The members had shut down all government offices, banks and business establishments from this morning onwards. However, educational institutions which are currently holding examinations have been allowed to remain open.
“I would thanks the people of Jharsuguda in supporting our cause and making this bandh a successful one, the future course of action will be decided at CAC meeting, held at Jharsuguda on Thursday, there might some changes in our agitation but will continue the protest till state government fulfills our demand of HC Bench in Western Odisha.” said Raghumani Patel, Jharsuguda Dist. Bar President.
