Jharsuguda: Students’ union elections passed off peacefully in various colleges across the District.
Kalindra Mahananda, student of +3 arts second year won the President Post of Laxmi Narayan College by defeating his nearest competitor Ankit Kumar Poddar by eleven votes in election held on Tuesday. While in Vice President Post Mantra Mudha Jena , +3 arts second year won Vice President post , Rudra Narayan Sha as General Secretary unopposed where Vishal Kumar Joshi won General Secretary post defeating his rival Ramita Mahanada by margin of 157 votes.
While Avinash Kumar Singh of + 3 Science first year became the president of Brajrajnagar College and in Belpahar College Ankit Agarwal became the President.
